Your favorite outdoor sunset party is back all summer 2026 🍉 This is a free event in partnership with Pentridge Station. DJ's will play Afrobeats, Amapiano, Hip-Hop & House music to keep the summer vibes going all evening. There will be food and beverages available for sale as well as vendors. Open Decks for DJs 5-7PM
In this casual get together we'll begin to dream up the Peoplehood Pageant (over arching themes, metaphors, etc,), individuals representing groups can also come to talk about project ideas and to learn about what is involved in their group joining the Parade, the art builds or having their group's story in the pageant. Bring your artist friends, your community loving friends, your friends who are part of activist, community, youth or cultural groups, or anyone who you think would love or benefit from the Peoplehood experience! RSVP by emailing us at [email protected] (Drop ins welcome too, we are just trying to get a head count) Spiral Q will be providing light snacks but we also encourage folks to support the food truck and bar, and we encourage folks to stay and enjoy Pentridge Station and DJ Jamz's Watermelon Glow. And of course remember to save the date for the 26th Annual Peoplehood Parade and Pageant on Saturday November 7th (Rain date Saturday November 14th)!

A world, folk, and traditional music vibe, and a celebration of indigenous cultures from around the world. Live musicians and a live drum circle jam will be featured at this event, as well as a special meditative style wind down DJ set for the last hour. This harvest of sound and rhythm will celebrate the heartbeat of resilience under the sturgeon moon as we gather in the meadow of kingsessing for a night of abundance. R&B Jam Slam is an interactive live music experience dedicated to celebrating R&B music and local talent. The event features, a live band, DJ, open performance opportunities for singers, and local vendors.
